Vital Information:
MSENVSCI is a 2-year program and applications can be made year-round for the next intake. Entry requirements:
- holders of at least a Second -Class degree, or equivalent qualification in relevant subject areas
- holders of another class of degree in the same disciplines and with a relevant postgraduate diploma or at least two (2) years of field experience and evidence of research publication since graduation
- holders of equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution of Higher Education
Advent/September and Easter/January– Full-time Day at the Main/Mukono campus
Graduates acquire academic and practical knowledge for promoting integrated science, planning, policy, and education for understanding earth-system processes and managing the impacts of human activity and poverty.
The program targets bright students with high interest in research and publication, and is based on the availability of project or personal research funds.The Environment programs are aimed at equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and scientific basis to develop and/or maintain appropriate and sustainable technical solutions to environmental problems such as: pollution mitigation, climate change adaptation, waste management and remediation. Graduates can work as District Environment Officers, Environmental Analysts, EIA Experts, Environment Inspectors, Lecturers, NGO Project Managers, Environmental Consultants, Researchers, among others.
