He is a professional Social Worker /Child Development Specialist with over 17 years of relevant experience in rural and community development, livelihoods enhancement, conflict resolution and human rights and peacebuilding in a post-conflict environment. He presently works as Program Coordinator, Child Development and Children’s Ministry at Uganda Christian University.
He holds a master’s degree in Child Development (Daystar University, Kenya), Master of Arts in Social Sector Planning and Management (Makerere University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration (Makerere University).
He has core competencies in Program Development, Management and Evaluation; Child Development; Social Research; HIV/AIDS Research: Community Development and Research; and Evaluation of Social Welfare Projects.
Mr. Mukhwana has other assigned duties at UCU as staff representative on the Senate; Chairperson, UCU Kids Care Center; Chairperson, Honors College; and Member of IFLS Committee.
